How do I invite teammates to my Callmine workspace?

Getting started·May 31, 2026·1 min·By Callmine Team

Invite teammates from workspace settings. Admins manage billing and integrations; members can run analyses and view reports.

TL;DR

Open workspace settings, click Invite member, enter the teammate's email, and pick admin or member. Invitations are sent via Clerk; the teammate accepts from the email and lands directly in your workspace.

Steps

  1. 01Open /settings and switch to the Members tab. Only workspace admins see this tab; if you don't see it, ask an existing admin to invite you.
  2. 02Click Invite member. Enter the teammate's email address and pick a role — admin for billing and integration access, member for prompt-writing and report viewing.
  3. 03Send the invitation. Clerk emails the teammate a one-click accept link. The link is workspace-scoped — accepting it adds them to your workspace specifically, not all of Callmine.
  4. 04The teammate signs in (or signs up if they don't have an account yet) and is placed directly in your workspace's /dashboard.

What members can and can't do

Members can run analyses from /new, view past reports at /dashboard and /reports/<id>, write and save prompts, and use the prompt library. Admins do everything members do plus: change the plan, manage Gong/HubSpot/Slack integrations, create and edit schedules, view the workspace audit log at /audit, and invite or remove members.

Removing a member

Open the Members tab, find the row, and click Remove. The teammate loses access on their next page load. Their past report runs stay attributed to them in the audit log — Callmine does not silently reassign authorship when a member leaves.

§ Common questions

Frequently asked.

Can a member upgrade the plan or change the Gong connection?

No. Billing actions, Gong/HubSpot/Slack connection changes, and schedule edits are admin-only. A member sees the buttons greyed out and gets a 403 from the API.

How do I promote a member to admin?

Open workspace settings, find the member's row, and change their role from member to admin. The change is server-enforced — the new admin gets billing and integration access on their next page load.

Can I invite someone outside my company email domain?

Yes. Callmine doesn't restrict invitations by email domain. If you need that restriction, configure it on the Clerk side under your organization's allowed-domains setting.

Do members count toward my plan's seat limit?

Callmine doesn't meter seats today — quotas are per workspace, not per seat. Add as many teammates as you want. We'll give you 30 days' notice before changing this model.
